Get ready, Uplanders, because Genesis Week is bringing the city of Berlin to Upland! Berlin is a city where history dances with innovation, and creativity ignites at every corner. Nestled in the heart of Germany, Berlin is a vibrant metropolis that never fails to captivate its visitors. From its iconic landmarks to its buzzing cultural scene, this city is a delightful fusion of old-world charm and contemporary cool.
The Berlin city release will take place on Friday, June 9th at 10 AM PT. In addition to the city release, we will be hosting a community meet-up in Berlin on the same day and time, where we will celebrate and open the city LIVE in Berlin. This unique opportunity allows players attending either the Berlin community meet-up or Genesis Week in Las Vegas to come together and experience the live city release alongside their fellow Uplanders!
If you're interested in owning a property in Berlin, make sure to read all the details below to ensure you are fully prepared for the city release.
Opening on Friday, June 9th at 10 AM PT in Vanilla Mode, Berlin is the capital and largest city in Germany and is home to more than 3.7 million people. According to Upland's city tier system, Berlin classifies as a large-sized, medium-priced city. When Berlin is released, about ~19,500 properties in eight neighborhoods will be available to all players. More parcels will come later as all neighborhoods eventually open. Overall, about ~20% of the properties across all of Berlin are reserved as FSA.
Note: All neighborhoods will be added to the map, but travel will be possible only in the neighborhoods listed above until future expansions unlock additional areas.

To celebrate the Berlin city release, we will be hosting a live in-person meet-up for everyone in the Berlin area. Join our community meet-up in Berlin at the historic LVL World of Gaming gaming and Esports venue Friday, June 9th from 18:00-21:00 CEST.

Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BER) has routes for 15 airports spread across Upland. Once players arrive in Berlin, they will need to take the Berlin Brandenburg train to where the city release will take place. Plan your trip accordingly if you want to make it in time for the city’s release.

We'll reveal collections for the Berlin City release on Friday, June 16th at 9 AM PT. As collections may alter a property's price, double-check your marketplace properties before the reveal to ensure you don’t sell them below the collection-modified value. It may be safer to temporarily remove them from the marketplace before the information is public and the Collections are revealed.
Important Note: All collections to this city release will be tokenized before the release and will remain unmodified. As cities continue to expand, additional collections will be tokenized in this same process to meet the required collection ranges for each city’s tier. Not all collections tokenized are necessarily for the current city release.
