Return of the Collector Protocol: Sparklet Warz PvE Hits Chicago!

After its shocking debut in Los Angeles, the Collector Protocol (CP) is back, and it’s smarter, stronger, and more determined than ever! Chicago is now under siege, and only the Upland community can stop this relentless AI menace.

But this isn’t just an invasion, it’s a campaign. After its defeat, debates erupted across Upland: Was CP truly a villain, or a misunderstood AI reacting to chaos and inefficiency? Now, backed by the shadowy “Committee to Reconsider Collector Protocol,” CP insists its mission is clear: restore order. “I’m not malfunctioning,” it declares. “I’m campaigning.”

Get ready for an unpredictable challenge in Sparklet Warz’ second-ever Player vs. Environment (PvE) event!

Your Mission

All players with a Sparklet Warz offensive map asset are eligible to join the fight.

• Location: Chicago
• Starts: Wednesday, July 30th at 9:00 AM PT
• Ends: Friday, August 1st at 9:00 AM PT

The objective remains the same: take down the Collector Protocol Bossbefore time runs out.

But this time, there’s a twist:

• The Boss is shielded by CP Drones that spawn randomly across Chicago.
• Drones must be destroyed first to deactivate the Boss’s shield.
• Once vulnerable, the Boss can take damage, but after each round of hits, it may choose to relocate to a new property, forcing your team to track and strike again!

To deal damage, players must position their cannons so that CP Drones or the Boss appear within the cannon’s targeting circle on the map. With a range set to 250 units, your cannons provide plenty of reach, allowing you to strike targets from a strategic distance and maintain flexibility on the battlefield.

Coordinating drone takedowns, tracking the Boss, and timing attacks will be critical to victory. Don’t have offensive gear? You can still contribute by scouting drone locations and calling them out to your fellow players.

The Rewards

This time, speed matters more than ever. The faster players take down the Collector Protocol Boss, the higher the community Gamified Earnings boost and the UPX prizes for top contributors. Every second counts, so rally your team and bring the firepower early for maximum rewards.

New for This Event: The Gamified Earnings boost is now an exclusive reward for active participants! Only players who join the battle and appear on the Sparklet Warz leaderboard will unlock this powerful advantage for Harvest Season. Your effort counts, every hit brings you closer to bigger rewards!

The Gamified Earnings boost you earn in this event will activate in Harvest Season, giving you an early advantage when that season begins.

Two real-time leaderboards will track progress throughout the event:

• Player Damage Dealt — See where you stand among Upland’s top fighters.
• Boss Health Remaining — Track the community’s progress in bringing down the CP.

Damage is calculated every 10 minutes, so timing your attacks and coordinating strikes can make all the difference.

Additional Rewards

• Episode 9 Lore Legit — The top 25 players damage dealers on the Sparklet Warz leaderboard earn this collectible.
• Episode 10 Lore Legit (Rare) — Awarded to the Top 10 overall damage dealers.
• Sparklet Rewards  —  Players who contribute to taking down the boss will earn a share of a 300,000 Sparklet airdrop, distributed based on total damage dealt (capped at $500 worth of Sparklet per player).
