If a car drives by in Upland and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? While the physics of the Upland metaverse are yet to be understood, one thing we do know is that we need your help in putting new sounds to our cars! You have seen the teaser (if not, check it out here) and you have heard us talk about how we are getting ready for cars, but there is still more to do!

The sounds of racing in our teaser were phenomenal, but we want a more personal touch. If you are up for a challenge, we dare you to take our cars teaser and add your own sounds to it.

Challenge & Rewards

To join the challenge, please submit a video of your car sounds over the cars teaser video (download here). You have about 30 seconds to show us what you can do. After submissions have closed, our team will then our pick our 3 favorites entries, and the winning submissions will earn 50k UPX; they may also be potentially be used as the sound for a future MMotors vehicle! There are a few restrictions, sounds must be created using only your voice (with minimal audio editing) and you must appear on camera.

Submission Details

Please upload your submission to Youtube and share the link with us here. Please make sure that you have the correct privacy settings and that your video is available to be viewed. If we cannot view your video, your submission will be disqualified. Submissions are due by Thursday, March 31st at 11:59 PM PT.
