Cleveland Collection Reveal
Tomorrow morning PT, Thursday, Aug 19th, we will begin the process of revealing the remaining collections in Cleveland.
While all sold-out collections will be revealed, Cleveland collections that are not sold out will also be revealed through the following process...
Right before the announcement, we will lock any unminted properties in Cleveland that are part of collections. Afterwards we will then reveal the collection and the collection key (allowing players to confirm the collection on the blockchain).
Unminted properties that match the announced collections, will then be repriced based on the collection level they match. This process of repricing unminted properties-per the publicly available collection data-is how properties have been priced in Upland from the initial introduction of collections.
We will give the community a heads up and one hour later the unminted properties will be unlocked again for minting. As a precaution, make sure to double-check your marketplace properties before the announcement to ensure you don’t sell them below collection-modified value. It may be safer to temporarily remove them from the marketplace before the announcement is made and the collections are revealed.
What is Vanilla Mode?
Vanilla mode means that details for the predetermined collections are revealed after a city is released. Details for Collections in cities that are released in Vanilla Mode are minted to the blockchain prior to the release to ensure provable fairness for all players. When collections are revealed tomorrow, all unminted properties will be repriced to reflect the collection’s impact on property value.
Collection Release Schedule:
The collections will be released tomorrow morning. We will make an announcement an hour before we lock the properties. We will make another announcement an hour before the unminted properties are unlocked for minting. Stay tuned!
