Crepes, Cafes, Hotels, and Civic Power
July 01, 2026

This week’s Service Structures lineup keeps Upland’s 1950s Retro Genesis Season rolling with four new stops that make a neighborhood feel busier, brighter, and more complete. From a quick crepe kiosk to a chrome-trimmed cafe, a throwback hotel, and a civic anchor built for serious downtown presence, this drop gives players more ways to add retro character and everyday purpose to their blocks.
These Service Structures will be available starting Wednesday, July 1 at 9 AM PT. As always, all structures are available to players with Uplander status and above. No registration is required. Once a player purchases one, it will disappear from that player’s store.
The Crepe Escape
Warm griddles, sweet fillings, quick bites, and the kind of little street stop that makes a neighborhood feel instantly more walkable. The Crepe Escape brings a playful crepe kiosk to Upland, giving Uppies a convenient place to grab something fresh while moving through plazas, market streets, festival areas, and busy commercial corners. It is a natural fit for players who want small food-service details that make a block feel active without overpowering the rest of the build. (Entertainment, Service Units 1)
Spark Hours: 3,600
Price: $1.99

The Rocket Cup Cafe
Chrome counters, checkerboard floors, rocket-age signage, and a cup of coffee that probably comes with a wink from behind the counter. The Rocket Cup Cafe adds a retro 1950s cafe to Upland, giving Uppies a bright social stop for morning routines, downtown meetups, and classic neighborhood charm. For players building main streets, diner districts, lifestyle corridors, or nostalgic commercial zones, this one brings the kind of personality that makes a street feel lived-in. (Entertainment, Service Units 5)
Spark Hours: 20,250
Price: $4.99

The Lucky Star Hotel
Neon signs, polished lobbies, suitcase carts, and the feeling that every traveler has a story before they even reach the front desk. The Lucky Star Hotel brings a 1950s retro hotel to Upland, giving Uppies a stylish place to arrive, stay, and become part of the neighborhood rhythm. It is a strong anchor for downtown strips, travel corridors, entertainment districts, and any city build that needs a little more overnight energy. (Essentials, Service Units 40)
Spark Hours: 64,800
Price: $6.99

The Skyline Courthouse
Tall columns, civic confidence, mid-century lines, and the kind of public building that tells the whole district to stand up a little straighter. The Skyline Courthouse adds a 1950s retro courthouse to Upland, giving Uppies a major civic destination and giving players a strong public-service anchor for downtown cores, government districts, and more formal city layouts. For builders looking to create neighborhoods with authority, structure, and a real sense of place, this one delivers. (Public Service, Service Units 30)
Spark Hours: 53,550
Price: $9.99

Whether players are adding a quick food kiosk, a retro cafe, a hotel with classic neon charm, or a courthouse built to anchor the skyline, this week’s Service Structures give neighborhoods more places to gather, travel, work, and settle in.
Keep shaping the neighborhoods that bring Uppies home.
