Genesis Week Makes History: Omaha, Florence, and Takasaki Are Coming to Upland!

Upland is making history during Genesis Week with one of the most ambitious city launches we have ever attempted. For the first time ever, three cities will open simultaneously: Omaha, Nebraska, Florence, Italy, and Takasaki, Japan. The triple city opening begins on Thursday, June 11th at 9 AM PT, bringing players three very different regions, three different strategic paths, and a launch moment unlike anything Upland has done before.

This release is also extra special because it arrives alongside the next major step for Farmlands in Upland. These cities are opening with Farm Properties, giving players another chance to secure land tied to future farming specializations, regional production, and deeper progression loops. Farm Properties will be available only through select bundles in the Upland Store and will not be mintable during the city opening on release day.

Whether you are chasing long-term production strategy, looking for rare city passes, preparing for terminals, or simply trying to decide where to mint first during Genesis Week, this launch is designed to create real choice from the very beginning.

Three Cities. Three Paths.

Each city brings its own identity to Upland, and each one is designed to support a different farming specialization over time.

Omaha, Nebraska brings the heartland to Upland, with farming strengths connected to Grade A USDA beef cattle and traditional crop production. Players looking for a strong agricultural foundation will find Omaha positioned around practical, productive farmland utility.
Florence, Italy brings Upland into one of the world’s most iconic cultural and agricultural regions. Florence will be especially conducive to vineyard crops, with future progression designed around wine-focused farming outputs and, ultimately, Wine Troves.
Takasaki, Japan brings a unique farming identity rooted in world-famous Wagyu beef cattle and special exotic crops. Players looking for a more specialized farming strategy will want to pay close attention to what Takasaki brings to the Genesis Week lineup.

This is not just three cities opening at once. It is the beginning of three different farming strategies, each tied to a different part of the world.

City Pass Sales

City Passes are back for this historic launch, and this time they are rarer than ever. Omaha, Florence, and Takasaki will each have their own dedicated City Pass, with only 333 passes available per city.

These limited passes are designed for collectors, city builders, and players who want an early strategic foothold in one of the three Genesis Week cities. Each pass will provide access to a reserved property in its corresponding city, along with benefits tied to that city’s future structure unlocks and Collector Score utility.

Players who hold a pass on the snapshot date will receive a specific property address in the corresponding city to mint, along with the corresponding city structure. You will need to travel to that city to mint your property before the window closes. Any unminted properties will be released for public minting after the deadline.

Important: The list of assigned properties will be shared in live-updates on Discord and in in-game chat shortly after the Friday snapshot. Any unminted properties will later be made available to the public.

Property Bundle Sales

Omaha, Florence, and Takasaki will each offer the same property pre-sale bundle lineup, giving players a simple way to secure properties before the cities officially open. Each bundle will be available as a city-specific option, so players can choose whether they want to purchase for Omaha, Florence, or Takasaki.

Most importantly, the Deluxe bundle for each city will include a bonus Farm Property. This is the only way to obtain a Farm Property during the initial launch, as Farm Properties will not be mintableon release day.

Collections Reveal

Omaha, Florence, and Takasaki will follow the familiar collection reveal format from past city launches, keeping the excitement alive throughout the rest of Genesis Season.

Collections will remain a mystery until they are fully minted out. Each Thursday, we will announce the newly completed collections from the previous week, with the first reveal on Thursday, June 18th.

This rolling reveal will continue each Thursday through Thursday, July 9th. Then, any collections that are still incomplete will be announced, locked, repriced, and reopened for public minting.

Mint Masters Badges

Mint Masters Badges will be active for this release, giving players the chance to earn recognition for their minting achievements across Omaha, Florence, and Takasaki. With three cities opening at once, new Farm Properties entering the strategy conversation, and plenty of ground to cover, this is your moment to claim a badge and show off your minting skills.
