Upland’s Biggest Decor Challenge Starts Now — 1,000,000 UPX in Prizes!!

We’re kicking off 2026 by shining a spotlight on what makes Upland special: you, the community of creators, designers, and dreamers building something truly unique across the metaverse.

The Wonderland Decor Challenge returns with a new purpose, to showcase community creativity at its best. Fromnow until Monday, January 12th at 9 AM PT, Uplanders can submit as many of their decorated properties as they want, past or present, for a chance to win part of the 1,000,000 UPX prize pool!

There’s no theme. No leaderboard. Just your vision, your builds, and the opportunity to have them seen, celebrated, and rewarded.

A New Format

This season introduces a first-of-its-kind Showcase Challenge, a fresh way to celebrate Upland creativity. There are no leaderboards, no entry buttons. The only way to compete is by sharing your decorated properties publicly on social media.

If it’s not shared, it’s not in the running.

This format is a special way to start the year, and while it’s not the standard, it’s your chance to make a mark and show off your decorating skills.

How to Enter

To be eligible for judging, each entry must:

Be shared publicly on X (Twitter), Instagram, or Facebook
Tag @UplandMe
Use the hashtag #UplandDecorShowcase
A description of your property in the post
Include at least 3 screenshots:
At least one POV Mode screenshot
At least one screenshot of the Property Card
(More POV angles are strongly encouraged!)
All entries must be posted by Monday, January 12th at 9 AM PT.

Entries missing any of these elements, or posted after the deadline, will not be considered.

This Is a Showcase

This isn’t just about placing assets, it’s about how your property feels when seen from the street. We’re looking for builds that tell a story, show care and craft, and create a unique vibe.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a holiday market, a peaceful plaza, a surreal installation, or something we’ve never seen before. If it’s memorable, it belongs in the spotlight.

Judging Will Focus on POV Mode
All judging will be done using POV Mode, emphasizing:
Street-level presentation
Framing and composition
Use of space and atmosphere
Visual storytelling
Originality and creativity
Top-down views won’t be used , this is about walking the build, not looking from above.
Property can be located anywhere in Upland and include any ornaments or map assets.
Judging will be based on POV Mode

Final interpretation and selection will be determined by the Upland Team.

Prizes

We’re putting real rewards behind standout design. Whether it’s a new build or a hidden gem, if your property stands out, it could earn a share of our biggest Decor Challenge prize pool everof 1,000,000 UPX!

All eligible entries will be reviewed, evaluated, and voted on by the Upland team. Judging will be based on design quality, creativity, atmosphere, and how well the build presents in POV Mode.

There are no limits on how many properties you can submit, and yes, a single player can win with more than one property, as long as each entry meets all submission requirements.

Top 3 Winners:

1st Place: 300,000 UPX
2nd Place: 200,000 UPX
3rd Place: 150,000 UPX

Model Home Badge
Model Home Pin

Model Home Pins represent long-term quality. If a pinned property is sold, the new owner must maintain the design, or the pin may be removed.

4th–10th Place:

50,000 UPX each

This challenge is all about showcasing the very best of Upland design.

New property designs, classic builds, creative experiments. Every block and boulevard has potential. If it looks amazingin POV, it belongs in the showcase.
