The Genesis Drift: The Race Is On!

Game on, Uplanders, The Genesis Drift, Upland’s ultimate Kart Challenge, is burning rubber in San Francisco! This high-stakes event kicks off in the heart of Upland’s Genesis City, where racers will battle it out in precision-tuned Karts for glory, bragging rights, and leaderboard dominance.
As part of our journey in forging the infinite playground, The Genesis Drift is a pure test of speed and skill. Two legendary tracks, Holly Park Speedway and Heart of SanFran, stand between you and victory. It’s a Kart-only competition where the fastest combined time across both circuits wins it all.
From Tuesday, June 10 at 9 AM PT to Thursday, June 12 at 9 AM PT, racers will have 48 hours to post their best times. No power-ups. No tricks. Just you, your Kart, and the track.
The Race Format
To qualify for the leaderboard, each race must follow these exact settings, make sure you’re racing under the right conditions.
- Track 1: Holly Park Speedway — 625 Holly Park Circle, San Francisco, CA
- Track 2: Heart of SanFran — 1401 Eddy Street, San Francisco, CA
- Race Type: Public with AI opponents
- Vehicle Class: Karts only
- Defined MPS: 80
- Power-Ups: Disabled
- Entry Fee: 100 UPX per race
- Event Window: June 10 @ 9 AM PT — June 12 @ 9 AM PT
To make it onto the leaderboard, racers must post a time on both tracks. Your top time from each will be added together and only the fastest combined time will take the crown.
You can race as many times as you want during the event. Tweak your strategy, master the curves, and chase every millisecond, because in The Genesis Drift, the smallest edge can mean total victory.
