As Mother's Day approaches, get ready to celebrate this loving holiday with a Block Explorer sale and scavenger hunt in Las Vegas. Registration for the sale and Mother's Day Getaway Scavenger Hunt will open on Friday, May 12th at 8 AM PT. The sale will start on Saturday, May 13th at 9 AM PT, with the hunt starting shortly after at 10 AM PT. The first 200 players to complete the competitive tier of the hunt will be eligible for rewards, including the exclusive "Mom's Love Board" Block Explorer, UPX, and Spark.

Get ready, Uplanders! You'll need to put on your thinking caps for the Mother's Day Getaway Scavenger Hunt in Las Vegas. To be among the first to complete the hunt, players will have to solve a range of clues, including encrypted messages, riddles, and references to historical events. Don't forget to review all the details of the hunt below to ensure that you're fully prepared.
Note: Players will receive ~50% of their fees by completing a competitive hunt in its entirety.
Players who would prefer to enjoy the hunt and solve clues at their own pace should select the casual tier for the hunt. However, if you select the casual hunt you won’t be eligible for rewards.

To register, head over to the “treasures” tab in the Upland App and tap the “globe” icon in the bottom left to select “Las Vegas.” Once Las Vegas has been chosen, register for either the competitive tier to compete with other players or the casual tier for the more leisurely hunt. You can only register for one Hunt tier, so choose wisely!
The first 200 players to complete the Competitive Mother’s Day Getaway Scavenger Hunt will be eligible for rewards. These rewards include the exclusive ‘Mom’s Love Board’ Block Explorer, UPX, and Spark. The amount of UPX and Spark you receive is determined by your finishing position, so it pays to be quick! Additionally, players will earn back approximately 50% of their registration fee just for completing the hunt, while the remaining 50% goes to the prize pool. There will be no reward ranks for the Casual Mother’s Day Getaway Scavenger Hunt. Instead, players who complete the Hunt will receive approximately ~100% of their registration fee through rewards at the completion of each clue.
We understand that Upland Hunts can be competitive and stressful, which means that some players are inevitably left out. For those who would like to try the Hunt without the pressure of competition, this additional hunting tier allows players to complete Upland Hunts at their own pace and try to solve the clues with minimal time pressure. Players who participate in the casual tier will receive 100% of their registration fee (plus a chance to win bonus UPX) for completing the hunt.
Once a scavenger hunt begins, you will need to click into the “treasures” menu and select the hunt you previously registered for. Selecting the first location will prompt you with a clue. Each clue will describe the name of the next location in the hunt and you’ll have to use the resources available to you to find out what the address of that location is.
Throughout the hunt, expect to see a variety of different types of clues including ciphered messages, riddles, and historical references. We highly recommend you have Google handy, alongside a pen or pencil with some paper to help you out. You can also discuss the clues with other Uplanders on Discord or In-Game Chat!
