Construction Boost Is Live: Start Speeding Up Your Builds

Construction Boost is officially live in Upland!

Players can now place eligible Construction Vehicles on properties they own to reduce construction times and help their builds finish faster. This adds a new layer of strategy to development, giving players more ways to use their vehicles while building across Upland.

Construction Vehicles can also be stacked to increase their impact. Combining multiple eligible vehicles on a property can boost your build even further, with final results depending on the vehicles used and how they are stacked. You can learn more about how stacking works in our Construction Boost overview here.

Now that Construction Boost is live, players who already have Construction Vehicles placed on a property may need to refresh the boost for it to begin applying.

To do this, either:

• Move the vehicle off the property and place it back on
• Adjust the Sparklet amount on the active construction

Once one of these actions is completed, the Construction Boost should activate and begin applying to the eligible structure on that property.

Phase One: Boost Your Own Builds

This is the first phase of the Construction Boost mechanic. For now, players can use Construction Vehicles on their own eligible properties.

In a future update, players will be able to place vehicles on other players’ properties to boost their builds as well, opening the door for more service-based gameplay.

Important Notes

• Construction Boost applies to one building at a time.
• When multiple structures are under construction on the same property, the boost will automatically apply to the building closest to completion. Once that structure is finished, the boost will automatically move to the next eligible structure on the property.

New Construction Vehicles Available

To celebrate the launch of Construction Boost, we are also releasing two additional Construction Vehicles for purchase: the Excavator and the Front Loader.

Both are medium Construction Boost vehicles and can be deployed on any eligible property the player owns.

Excavator

Purchasing this bundle grants players one Excavator Service Truck. Each vehicle delivers a boost to construction or its corresponding Service Structure and can be deployed on any eligible property the player owns.
