Genesis Week wouldn’t be complete without one of Upland’s most exciting traditions: the Genesis Gold Rush Master Hunter Challenge! This annual competition shines a spotlight on the elite treasure-hunting skills of the Upland community, and it’s your chance to prove you’re among the best!

The Master Hunter Challenge kicks off Monday, June 9th at 12 PM PT and runs through Thursday, June 12th at 12 PM PT. During this time, every treasure you find in Treasure Rush mode contributes to your spoton the leaderboard.

What’s at Stake

There’s no shortage of rewards for those who rise to the top, here’s what’s waiting for the most skilled and dedicated treasure hunters this Genesis Week.

  • Top 50 treasure hunters will earn the exclusive Gold Rush Loot Box Block Explorer.
  • Top 100 treasure hunters will win episode 2 of the Genesis Season Lore Legit
  • ThreeGrand Prize Giveaway entries are up for grabs
  • One will go to the 1st place treasure hunter
  • One will go to a randomly selected player from the top 10 on the leaderboard
  • The other will be awarded to a randomly selected participant from the entire leaderboard
  • All three winners will earn a chance to take home the coveted Sunflower Seed Nursery

Daily City Lineup

Each day, Treasure Rushes will take place in five different cities, giving you multiple opportunities to maximize your treasure count:

  • Monday, June 9: New Orleans, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Paris, Trenton
  • Tuesday, June 10: Chicago, Frederick, Miami Beach, São Paulo, South Lake Tahoe
  • Wednesday, June 11: Dallas, Bronx, Stockton, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles

How Treasure Rush Works

Treasure Rush is a fast-paced, 15-minute competition where players race to collect as many treasures as possible. Here’s how it works:

  • Unlimited sends during the 15-minute window (visitor fees still apply).
  • Spawn new treasures for just 10 UPX after each one is found.
  • UPX rewards are built into the treasures, the more treasures you collect, the more UPX you get.

Remember, each city’s Treasure Rush is open for 24 hours, but you can only participate once per city, so plan your hunts wisely! Head to the challenges tab in the quick menu to play.

Stay on top of the competition by visiting the Challenges tab in the Upland app. Keep an eye on your rank and adjust your strategy to climb higher on the leaderboard.
