Put your thinking caps on, Uplanders, and prepare for a special Genesis Week scavenger hunt! We are excited to announce the SuperFest Hunt as an addition to all the Genesis Week festivities! This scavenger hunt will start on Thursday, June 8th at 10 AM PT and take place in one of Upland’s newest cities, London! There are tons of rewards available, including the 'Genesis '23 SuperFest' Block Explorer, UPX, Spark, and an entry into the Genesis Week Grand Prize Giveaway for a chance to win the one-of-a-kind highly exclusive “Genesis Totem”.
Registration for the SuperFest Hunt opens on Wednesday, June 7th at 10 AM PT. So be sure to register before the scavenger hunt starts!
Check out the full details of the SuperFest Hunt below. The SuperFest Hunt will feature only a competitive play mode, with no casual play mode available.
Note: Registered participants will receive 20 sends and ~50% of their fees by completing the competitive hunt in its entirety.
Once registration opens, head over to the “treasures” tab in the Upland App and tap the “globe” icon in the bottom left to select “London.” Once your city has been chosen, you can register for the SuperFest Hunt. Please remember that SuperFest Hunt details will only be visible when “London” is selected on the Treasures tab in-app.
The player who completes the SuperFest Hunt first will receive an entry into the Genesis Week 2023 Grand Prize drawing for the exclusive and highly sought-after "Genesis Totem." For more information about the "Genesis Totem," click here.
Also, the first 200 players to complete the competitive SuperFest Hunt will be eligible for other rewards. These rewards include the scavenger hunt exclusive ‘Genesis ‘23 SuperFest’ Block Explorer, UPX, and Spark. The amount of UPX and Spark you receive is determined by your finishing position, so it pays to be quick! Additionally, players will earn back approximately 50% of their registration fee just for completing the hunt, while the remaining 50% goes to the prize pool. Once a scavenger hunt begins, you will need to click into the “treasures” menu and select the hunt you previously registered for. Selecting the first location will prompt you with a clue. Each clue will describe the name of the next location in the hunt, and you’ll have to use the resources available to you to find out what is the address of that location.
Throughout the hunt, expect to see a variety of different types of clues, including ciphered messages, riddles, and historical references. We highly recommend you have Google handy, alongside a pen or pencil with some paper to help you out. You can also discuss the clues with other Uplanders on Discord or In-Game Chat!
