Get Ready: Troves, Uppie Property Assignment, and Upland’s Biggest Uppie Drop Yet

Sizzle Season is almost here, and with it comes a major step forward for Upland. For the first time, we’re sharing confirmed launch windows for two highly anticipated features: Uppie property assignment and the full launch of Troves, Trove Banking, and Progression.
These updates are designed to work together. Uppies will begin supporting the properties you develop, while Troves will connect activity across properties, structures, plants, service structures, and neighborhoods. It all builds on the foundation that has always defined Upland: property development, property trading, and true digital ownership.
Here are the dates to know:
- Uppie property assignment: Launching during Sizzle Season, which runs from August 1 through September 15, 2026
- Troves, Banking, and Progression: Launching before Harvest Season begins on October 1, 2026
- Uppie bundle registration: July 28 at 9:00 AM PT
- Uppie bundle sale: July 29 at 9:00 AM PT
Troves Are Coming Before Harvest Season
That’s right: Troves are scheduled to go live before Harvest Season begins on October 1.
The initial release will focus on three connected pillars:
- Collect.Discover and collect Troves through gameplay across Upland, both by collecting them from plants and structures and by generating them through recipes.
- Bank. Permanently commit selected Troves to your collection, display them in your Trove Vault, and advance through Trove Banking levels.
- Progress. Build your new Upland Progression level by banking Troves, developing your property portfolio, completing objectives, and advancing your existing Upland status.
Together, these systems will give players more ways to pursue goals, preserve accomplishments, earn rewards, and demonstrate their progress throughout Upland. Additional features connected to Troves will arrive in later releases, but this first launch establishes the foundation for the larger system ahead.
Troves are important because they help turn individual Upland features into a connected gameplay loop. The properties you own, the structures you build, the plants you care for, and the neighborhoods you help develop can all contribute to what you collect and how you progress.
Ownership is the starting point. Development determines what you do with it.
Uppies Are Moving Onto Properties During Sizzle Season
Before Troves arrive, another major piece of the system will fall into place.
During Sizzle Season, players will gain the ability to assign Uppies to their properties.
At launch, Level 3 and higher Uppies will be eligible for property assignment. Once assigned, an Uppie will act as a caretaker by handling petting for the plants on that property, helping maintain their wellbeing. Players will still be responsible for feeding their plants, but their assigned Uppie will take care of ongoing petting.
This is the beginning of meaningful, property-level Uppie utility.
Later releases will build on that foundation with features such as Uppies appearing and moving in 3D on the map, Uppie employment at eligible structures, and automated Trove collection. Level 5 and higher Uppies assigned to properties are planned to eventually collect Troves from plants automatically, with higher-level Uppies able to collect more each day.
In other words, the Uppies you collect will not simply sit in your inventory. They are becoming active participants in the world you are building.
Where you assign them will matter. What you build on that property will matter. How you develop your neighborhood will matter.
