As many of you know, Manhattan is completely sold out, however, there are some locked properties that were previously broken and never released for minting. These hidden gems in Manhattan’s Marble Hill neighborhood are certain to be highly coveted by the Upland community, so rather than open them up for minting, we are going to give them away so that everyone has a chance at owning these exclusive properties. Players will be eligible to claim entries into this giveaway by completing a variety of activities throughout the week starting next Monday, February 28th, at 9:00 AM PT.
Each day, there will be a separate activity that players will need to complete before the start of the next activity on the next day; 24 hours for each. Check out the schedule below to see what you need to focus on each day of the week.
Earning Entries
All players who register and complete at least 1 paid send during the contest will earn 1 entry into the drawing. Each of the following activities, however, will earn additional entries to improve your chances at winning in the drawing.
Registration and 1 Paid Send = 1 Point
The Send Spree = 4 Points
Acquire Fresh Land = 10 Points
Hunting for Treasure = 15 Points
Flipping Properties = 20 Points
The number of points you earn will determine the number of entries you earn into the drawing.
1 - 4 Points = 1 Entry
5 - 9 Points = 2 Entries
10 - 19 Points = 3 Entries
20 - 29 Points = 4 Entries
30 - 39 Points = 5 Entries
40 - 49 Points = 6 Entries
50 Points = 7 Entries (Maximum)
The Send Spree | Monday, February 28th at 9:00 AM PT (24
Hours)
Players must complete 3 paid sends to properties that have the word “Upland” in the street address. Completing this activity will earn 4 points.
Acquire Fresh Land | Tuesday, March 1st, at 9:00 AM PT (24
Hours)
Players must mint at least 1 new property anywhere in Upland. Completing this activity will earn 10 points. Minting additional properties will not earn additional points.
Hunting for Treasure | Wednesday, March 2nd, at 9:00 AM PT (24
Hours)
Players must complete at least 1 treasure hunt, anywhere in Upland. This treasure can be a standard spawned treasure or a competitive tier treasure. Completing this activity will earn 15 points. Completing additional hunts will not earn additional points.
Flipping Properties | Thursday, March 3rd, at 9:00 AM PT (24
Hours)
Players must sell at least 1 property on the secondary market, anywhere in Upland. Completing this activity will earn 20 points. Selling additional properties will not earn additional points.
Players will have until Friday, March 4th, at 9:00 AM PT, to complete the final activity.
Rewards
For this challenge, we will be awarding 50 Manhattan properties in the Marble Hill neighborhood. Each property has a mint value between 5,700 UPX and 7,030 UPX. Properties will be assigned randomly to drawing winners; there is no correlation to entries/points and mint values.
