We're excited to unveil a significant advancement in the UGC ecosystem on the Upland Platform: the arrival of the Upland UGC Playground in Open Beta!

Now accessible at https://ugc.upland.me , the Playground is open to everyone for exploration and creativity. Here, you can adorn Upland parcels with various Structures, Map Assets, and more. To note, vehicles are not currently supported and will be available in a future update.

Additionally, for the general player base, you will be able to check the size of properties and their ability to fit a variety of different structures (E.g. Townhouse, Factory, Speedway). This will give you the ability to try before you buy, making sure that desired structure will manage to fit on that nice new property you have your eye on.

UGC artists will be thrilled to discover the Playground's capability for visually previewing, and validating their models right on the Upland Map.

During the Open Beta phase, we will maintain the existing stand-alone Model Validator. Note that once the "Pause" event concludes, submissions of model URLs will still require the use of the Model Validator.

‍Your feedback is invaluable! This release of the Playground aims to gather immediate insights from UGC artists as they start engaging with the tool.
