Uplanders, get ready for a fresh dose of British charm because we’re excited to announce the expansion of London and Birmingham. This expansion is set to take place on Thursday, May 18th at 9 AM PT. The London expansion will bring ~13,000 properties to seven new neighborhoods, while Birmingham will add ~11,000 properties to four new neighborhoods. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to expand your property portfolio in these two iconic British cities!
The initial property launch of London and Birmingham was a huge success, with both cities quickly becoming popular in Upland. To build on this momentum, it’s only fitting that we open up additional neighborhoods in these British cities.
To help you get ready for the London and Birmingham expansion, we have provided maps and other information below. Be sure to take a look so you can be fully prepared.
For the London Expansion, we will be opening up seven new neighborhoods: Abbey Road, Church Street, Little Venice, Maida Vale, Marylebone, Regent’s Park, and West End. On the map below, the green highlighted areas show the expansion neighborhoods, while the blue and orange areas indicate the neighborhoods that opened during the first property launch.
For the Birmingham expansion, we will be opening up four new neighborhoods: Aston, Birchfield, Handsworth, and Lozells. On the map below, the green highlighted areas show the expansion neighborhoods, while the blue areas indicate the neighborhoods that opened during the first property launch.

On Thursday, May 25 at 9 AM PT, we’ll reveal
collections for the London and Birmingham expansion. As collections
may alter a property's price, make sure to double-check your
marketplace properties before the reveal to ensure you don’t sell
them below the collection-modified value. It may be safer to
temporarily remove them from the marketplace before the information
is public and the Collections are revealed.
Two collections that opened during the initial launch of these cities have properties in this expansion. Properties in these collections will be available for minting in a non-vanilla mode: Piccadilly St. in London and Soho Rd. in Birmingham.
Important Note:
All collections to this city expansion will be tokenized before
the release and will remain unmodified. As cities continue to
expand, additional collections will be tokenized in this same
process to meet the required collection ranges for each city’s
tier. Not all collections tokenized are necessarily for the
current expansion.
With this city expansion, we will be opening up additional international terminals in five different cities throughout Upland. The registration and sale of these terminals will only be available on the web version of the Upland Store.
