Meet Upland’s Trusted Ambassadors
July 23, 2026

Since Discord became Upland’s default in-game chat, more players than ever are entering the community, asking questions, and discovering Upland together.
That connection creates an enormous opportunity, but it also creates a need.
New players need friendly, knowledgeable people who are active in Discord, ready to answer questions, and willing to help them find their footing. Fortunately, many of you have already stepped up.
You have welcomed new players, explained complicated systems, shared useful resources, and reached out to people who needed help without being asked.
We noticed. Now, we are making that recognition official.
Meet the Trusted Upland Ambassadors.
A Community Role That Matters
The Trusted Upland Ambassador role is a new prestige role in Discord created to recognize players who consistently make Upland more welcoming and easier to understand.
Ambassadors are experienced community members who spend significant time in Discord and genuinely enjoy meeting new players, answering their questions, and helping them become part of Upland.
This is not a moderation role.
Ambassadors are not responsible for enforcing rules, issuing warnings, or replacing Upland’s moderators. We already have moderators dedicated to keeping the community safe and respectful.
Ambassadors have a different mission: building connections.
They are the people who greet someone joining chat for the first time, answer the question everyone else has heard a hundred times, and make sure new players do not feel like they are figuring everything out alone.
They make Upland easier to enter and harder to leave.
Every Contribution Matters
Upland’s community is built by people contributing in many different ways.
Some create videos, guides, podcasts, or livestreams. Others organize events, share Upland across social media, create artwork, lead neighborhoods, moderate conversations, or support the community behind the scenes.
Every one of those contributions matters.
The Trusted Ambassador role does not replace, outrank, or take away from any of them. It recognizes one specific type of contribution that has become increasingly important since Discord became Upland’s default in-game chat.
This role is specifically for Discord power users: players who are online frequently, active in conversations, and available to welcome and help new players as they enter chat.
It is not a measure of who contributes the most. It is recognition for people filling a particular need.
What Trusted Ambassadors Do
Trusted Ambassadors will be active throughout Upland’s Discord community, with a particular focus on supporting new players.
You may see them:
- Welcoming new players and starting conversations
- Reaching out to people who appear lost or unsure
- Answering common gameplay questions
- Helping players understand Upland’s systems and features
- Directing players toward useful guides and resources
- Introducing new players to other members of the community
- Encouraging helpful and respectful conversations
This role is for players who are online regularly, actively participate in Discord, and genuinely enjoy befriending and helping others.
It is not about having every answer. It is about being approachable, patient, consistent, and willing to help.
Recognition Across Upland
Trusted Ambassadors deserve more than a quiet thank-you.
They will receive:
- The exclusive Trusted Ambassador Discord role
- A recognizable in-game badge
- A direct line to the Upland Team via a private Ambassador Discord channel
- Recognition through recurring Ambassador Spotlights

This is not simply another label beside a username. It is a visible mark of trust, contribution, and community leadership.
When you see a Trusted Upland Ambassador, you will know you are speaking with someone recognized for their knowledge, consistency, and willingness to help.
The First Ambassador Class
The first group of Trusted Upland Ambassadors will be hand-picked from players who are already doing the work.
These are players who consistently spend time in Discord, welcome new faces, answer questions, and help the community move forward without waiting for recognition.
The badge does not create an Ambassador.
It recognizes someone who has already earned that trust through their actions. This first class will establish the standard for what being a Trusted Upland Ambassador means.
Over the coming days and weeks, we will begin approaching players who we believe embody what this role is meant to represent. No Ambassadors have been selected yet, and the first class will be formed thoughtfully over time.
Could You Become an Ambassador?
This program is only the beginning, and it will grow over time. There is no application to complete and no campaign to run.
Future Ambassadors will be recognized based on how they consistently show up in Discord, how active they are, how they treat people, and the difference they make for new players over time.
If you enjoy befriending new players, answering questions, and helping people understand Upland, keep doing it.
Be active. Be patient. Be welcoming. Help because the community matters.
Upland is paying attention.
The Players Who Make Upland Feel Alive
Upland is more than properties, collections, businesses, and competition. It is also the people who make someone’s first experience feel welcoming.
To everyone creating content, organizing events, sharing Upland, moderating conversations, answering questions, or helping the community in your own way: thank you.
You are playing an important part in Upland’s future.
The Trusted Ambassador role is our way of recognizing the Discord power users who are there when new players arrive and help turn their first question into their first connection.
The first Trusted Ambassadors are coming. Watch for the badge. Remember the names.
