October Release Confirmed: Sell Fully-Loaded Properties in Upland

One of the most highly requested features in Upland is almost here, and it’s set to transform the way players buy, sell, and trade properties!

Back in our August Developer Update, we announced we were fast-tracking the ability to sell properties with all their attached map assets, including vehicles and structure ornaments. Today, we’re thrilled to share that this powerful new feature will officially go live before the end of October!

This is more than just a quality-of-life improvement, it opens the door to an entirely new layer of gameplay and strategy. Whether you’re a seasoned flipper or a community-focused builder, you’ll now be able to:

• Purchase underdeveloped properties
• Enhance them with structures, decor, and even vehicles
• Resell them as fully-loaded, visually appealing properties

That means more property flipping, faster neighborhood revitalization, and more immersive community planning. Want to make your property stand out in a crowded marketplace? Now you can boost its value directly through design and development.

As we prepare for launch, a few important tips:

• If you want to keep your map assets or cars, be sure to remove them from your property before listing it for sale.
• If you want to include them in the sale, go ahead and decorate, add those cars, and make your listing irresistible.

This update also lays key groundwork for the arrival of Residents and Uppies. Uppies will be drawn to vibrant, well-developed areas. With this new feature, players will have more motivation, and more means, to craft neighborhoods that attract and inspire.
