Calling all meme lovers from around the world! Save the date for November 2, 2023. Own The Doge is hosting a unique celebration like no other. They’re throwing a one-of-a-kind paw-ty to commemorate the 18th birthday of the most famous Shibu Inu of them all - Kabosu, the original Doge. This event also aims to pay homage to the very first official International Doge Day.
In case you’re not familiar, Kabosu is renowned for her incredibly cute “such wow” expressions and for being the face of the popular Dogecoin cryptocurrency meme.
As part of the festivities, Own The Doge, alongside a dedicated group of Dogecoin enthusiasts, is constructing a colossal bronze statue in honor of Kabosu. This official statue will stand as a timeless tribute to the iconic, playful grin that marked the inception of the meme revolution and took the internet by storm.
In addition to the statue, Own the Doge will be opening a Cafe in Upland, situated at the very spot where they are constructing the real-world statue. This Cafe will serve as a gathering place for all Doge enthusiasts to come together, mingle, and potentially win a Kabosu Block Explorer! The Own The Doge Cafe is already open as we have managed to keep it a well-guarded secret until now, just to ensure all you meme lovers have a “such wow” moment!

Get ready to join us for the Kabosu Birthday Cafe events at the newly opened Own The Doge Cafe (2714 Usuida Null, Sakura, Japan). During these events, attendees will have the chance to watch an exciting streams in the Cafe and win one of four brand-new Kabosu Block Explorers through a giveaway.

Entering the Kabosu Block Explorer Giveaway is simple, all you need to do is join and be in attendance at the Own The Doge Cafe (2714 Usuida Null, Sakura, Japan) at least once during the Cafe Events. By attending, you will automatically be included in the giveaway, giving you an opportunity to win one of the four Kabosu Block Explorers. After the conclusion of the Cafe events, 50 lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive one of these Block Explorers.
Note: Each attendee of the Cafe event can win a maximum of one Kabosu Block Explorer. The Upland Team will randomly select the type of Block Explorers awarded to the winners.
Currently, you don’t need to travel and send your Block Explorer to the Cafe’s address. All you need to do is search for the Own The Doge Cafe’s address (2714 Usuida Null, Sakura, Japan) in the property search bar. Once you have located the Own The Doge Cafe, zoom in on the map and find the pill button. Clicking on this button will begin the process of launching the 3D Experience and taking you to the Cafe.
Before joining a Cafe, make sure that you have created a 3D Avatar. Players can join the Cafe using the web or mobile versions of Upland, eliminating the need to download any additional applications or programs.
Note: Each Cafe has a maximum capacity of 50 players and does not require an entry fee. Once the Cafe reaches maximum capacity, additional players who join will be placed in a secondary overflow Cafe.
