Service Vehicle Boosts Are Coming to Upland. And So Are 2026 Taxis!

At the end of last year, we introduced a brand-new concept to Upland: service vehicles. It started with Buses, and now we’re ready to expand this feature in a major way. After months of work behind the scenes, we’re excited to officially announce that service vehicle boosts are launching in Upland in the next few weeks!

What Are Service Vehicle Boosts?

Service vehicles, like buses, fire trucks, police vans, and more, are designed to enhance the effectiveness of key service structures in Upland. When placed on a property containing a compatible service structure, these vehicles will boost that structure’s score, helping you gain a strategic edge.

While service vehicles don’t have their own service scores, they act as multipliers, amplifying the performance of structures like Hospitals, Fire Stations, and Police Departments. This is your chance to stand out from the competition and build even more powerful neighborhoods.

Note: This system does not include construction vehicles. That’s a separate mechanic we’re actively developing, which will focus on speeding up building times. Stay tuned for more details on that soon!
