$SPARKLET WARZ Season 3 Launching: Factions Clash in the Most Strategic $SPARKLET Warz Yet!

The third round of $SPARKLET Warz is here, and it’s shaping up to be the most intense yet.

With more assets in play than ever before, including powerful offensive and defensive map assets, structure ornaments, and a limited run of high-impact Karts, players have more waystobattle, morestrategic decisions to make, and more opportunities to drive their faction to victory.

At the heart of $SPARKLET Warz is a core Upland principle: property ownership as power. Your buildings are not just structures, they’re the front lines in a city-wide contest for control. And this season, it’s all going down in Miami.

The Cypher Cyborgs are riding high as two-time champions, but the Krypto Knights nearly pulled off an upset last season. Meanwhile, the Purge Pirates have leveled up, bringing in focused leadership, deploying their own nodes, and making it clear they’re in this fight to win.

Taking place between the Blossom and Genesis seasons, this round ushers in a new era of strategic warfare, pushing every faction’s adaptability, resilience, and cunning to the limit.

$SPARKLET Warz continues in open beta, meaning we’re analyzing results, gathering feedback, and fine-tuning the experience in real-time. Participation remains capped to ensure balanced matchups and fierce competition.

After learning a great deal from the first two seasons, we’ve implemented several improvements for Season 3, and we’re also working behind the scenes on a brand-new Sparklet Warz mode we hope to introduce soon. Stay tuned.

  • Faction Pass Burning opens: Tuesday, May 20th at 9 AM PT
  • The battle begins: Thursday, May 22nd at 9 AM PT

What’s New in Season 3?

Season 3 of $SPARKLET Warz introduces a range of updates designed to deepen strategy, heighten competition, and increase opportunities to win. With a new battleground and refined mechanics, players will need to think and act smarter than ever before.

New Battleground: This season unfolds in Miami, offering fresh terrain and new tactical challenges for all factions.

More Frequent Snapshots: Scoring snapshots will now be taken multiple times throughout the day instead of once daily. This provides more scoring opportunities and rewards consistent engagement.

Flat Scoring System: All scoring days now carry equal weight. The new model eliminates progressive scoring, making every day’s performance just as important as the last.

Reduced Pass Limit: Entry is more exclusive this season, with only 125 passes available per faction (down from 175 in Season 2), increasing competition across the board.

No Burn Limits: Pass burning will not be paused this season. The system will remain open throughout the event, allowing uninterrupted faction engagement.

Pirate Bundle Access: The Purge Pirates will have access to the remaining Season 2 bundles, now available for UPX. This ensures a level playing field with equal access to essential items.

Real-Time Strategic Events: Additional timed challenges will occur throughout the war, rewarding factions with bonus points for quick and coordinated task completion.

Updated Kart Mechanics: Only 16 Season 3 Karts will be minted for each faction, making them the rarest Karts to date. This also helps to balance Karts overall.

  • Season 3 Karts remove 50% of a structure’s points upon deployment.
  • Season 1 and 2 Karts remove 25%, it takes two of them to match the effect of a single Season 3 Kart.

Mystery Bonus Incentive: Players who switch factions this season, actively contribute, and win with their new team will once again receive a Mystery Bonus Reward at the end of the event.

All previously released structure ornaments and map assets from past seasons will remain fully usable in Season 3, giving players even more strategic options to shape the battlefield. With more assets in circulation than ever before, this season is primed to deliver the most competitive and intense $SPARKLET Warz yet.

Please note: Only Season 3 Faction Passes are eligible for entry. Passes from previous seasons cannot be burned to participate in this round.

What Is $SPARKLET Warz?

$SPARKLET Warz is Upland’s premier city-control event, designed to challenge players’ teamwork, creativity, and tactical execution. Each faction must strategically deploy resources, counter opponent actions, and optimize their scoring to win control of the city.

At the end of the event, the faction with the highest score wins, and every player in that faction earns a share of the $SPARKLET airdrop, scaled by individual performance.

Scoring System Update

We’re moving away from the progressive scoring system in favor of a flat scoring model, each day of battle now counts equally toward the final score.

In addition, scoring snapshots will be taken multiple times per day, rather than once. Each snapshot contributes to the faction’s official leaderboard score. This system rewards active coordination, quick thinking, and the ability to adapt day-by-day.

Point Breakdown:

  • Ornament on Micro House: 30 points
  • Ornament on Small Townhouse: 40 points
  • Ornament on Ranch House: 50 points
  • Ornament on Miami Townhouse: 50 points
  • Ornament on Tokyo Townhouse: N/A
  • Ornament on Apartment Building: 70 points
  • Faction Super Structure: 250 points

$SPARKLET Warz Pass Sale

Unlock your path to glory with the exclusive $SPARKLET Warz Pass, granting access to one of three factions: Krypto Knights, Purge Pirates, or Cypher Cyborgs.

Players who actively participated in Season 2 (meaning they scored on the leaderboard) will receive exclusive 24-hour whitelist access to secure a pass before anyone else. After this priority window, any remaining passes will be available for all players to register. Faction passes are randomized.
