Frost Season Racing Finale
We finally have our finalists for the Series 1 racing! They are as follows: accapropy, shihanraza, metashpook, bignorm611, mwagamizi, sanmahoney, matsudar, faylos, xaoc777, madd0x, jh2271, masschef.
The final races will be held in the City Center Plaza (at 52 Grove St in San Francisco) at 11am PT Friday 15th March for all of the action!
The rewards for the other leaderboards will be dropped over the next few days.

- We've adjusted the staking requirement to a per player stake
amount. Clarified that at least 3 or more players must be in a
race to count for points.
We’re excited to unveil our much-anticipated official
racing series, now entering its
open beta phase! This innovative series
introduces a thrilling blend of seasonal and
annual competitions, where
each season puts players'
racing skills to the test!
Join us in this open beta and
help us fine-tune this racing extravaganza, paving the way for the
official launch in the 2024 Sizzle Season.
Each season in Upland will now host a thrilling racing series, transforming the way players engage with racing. By participating in multiplayer races, players will have the chance to earn points and climb the ranks.
The competition heats up as the season progresses, culminating in a
high-stakes showdown where the
top 12 players battle it out in the finals
and semifinals. This elite group will not only earn their place in
Upland lore but will also secure points on the prestigious
Upland Championship Circuit leaderboard.
Kicking off this grand venture is the
Frost 2024 Racing Season, marking the official launch in open beta. This initial phase is
all about fine-tuning and perfecting the racing experience. Each car
class listed below will have its own point leaderboard and
associated prizes. However the only class that can earn points to
the official Upland Championship Circuit are series 1 cars. Each
season's finals will be held at a
distinguished Upland monument, with the
Lusail Race Track
serving as the first one for the Frost Season.
Start Date: Tuesday February 27th at 9AM PT
End Date: Wednesday March 13th at 9AM PT
Series 1 Finals: Friday March 15th at 11 AM PT.
* Stock Car Pro only, trainer & competition stock cars are ineligible for races this season.
Players are able to participate and win on multiple leaderboards. All car sub classes within a series can be used IE R/E etc.
Players will only be able to gain points on each of the leaderboards
by participating in
races with stakes. Players will also want to participate in multiplayer races to
maximize their scores. Below is how you earn points throughout the
Frost season for each of the leaderboards. Only races
involving
three or more real-life participants
will be eligible for points during the season.
Participating in multiplayer races with stakes will earn you the
following points, regardless of what position you finish.
Players who stake more win more. This holds true for our season
races as well. There are
4 levels of race for stakes players can
choose from to earn points during the season.
1,500 UPX Staked Per Player:
1st Place: 5 points
2nd Place: 3 points
3rd
Place: 2 points
5,000 UPX Staked Per Player
1st Place: 15 points
2nd Place: 11 points
3rd Place: 7 points
10,000 UPX Staked Per Player:
1st Place: 25 points
2nd Place: 18 points
3rd
Place: 12 points
15,000 UPX Staked Per Player:
1st Place: 50 points
2nd Place: 30 points
3rd Place: 20 points
Only races with stakes with at least 3 or more real players will be eligible for leaderboard points. Races outside these amounts won't qualify for multiplayer or staking points. Additionally, all community fees will be added to the prize pool for the leaderboard victors.
Leaderboards will close on Wednesday, March 13th, at 9 AM PT, with the leading 12 racers being awarded prizes.
The top 12 from the Series 1 leaderboard will
advance to the finals on Friday, March 15th, at 11 AM PT. This round will feature
two semi-final races followed by a
final race to determine the winners.
These top performers will
earn points for the
Upland Championship Circuit leaderboard and
begin their journey towards the Champions Circuit Finals during
Genesis Week (more details below).
Each season's finals will unfold at an iconic Upland monument, starting with the Lusail Race Track for the Frost Season. The finals will be hosted and aired by the Upland Racing League, highlighting the zenith of Upland's racing scene
The top 10 racers in
each leaderboard will receive prizes ranging
from UPX to Spark, with
special badges for Series 1 top three
finishers. These rewards not only
recognize achievement but also fuel the
competitive spirit of Upland's racing
community.

Players achieving the coveted 1st Place in their vehicle class finals will receive:

Racers securing 3rd Place in their vehicle class finals will earn:

The Upland Championship Circuit stands as the pinnacle of racing achievement, an annual celebration that crowns the ultimate champion of the tracks. Competitors can only ascend this leaderboard by securing a top 12 finish in each seasonal series, making every race a critical step towards glory.
Each year the Upland Championship Circuit will culminate with a final race during Genesis week! This race will pit the top ranked racers who’ve accumulated the most points on the official championship circuit leaderboard against each other.
The following points are awarded to the top racers at the end of each season:
1st Place: 30 points
2nd Place: 25 points
3rd Place: 20 points
4th Place: 18 points
5th Place: 15 points
6th Place: 12 points
7th Place: 10 points
8th Place: 8 points
9th Place: 6 points
10th Place: 4 points
11th Place: 2 points
12th Place: 1 point
As Genesis Week approaches,
we'll reveal the prizes that await the champions. These rewards will be
the most coveted and valuable, reserved for

As the series progresses, players can
look forward to new features
that will redefine racing strategies. The introduction of a
Max Performance Score (MPS) and
Consumable Boosts promises to add depth and
complexity to the racing experience, ensuring no two races are ever
the same.
With the introduction of MPS and Consumables,
we're making racing accessible to all, while
also pioneering the concept of
legits that can level up through merging for
the first time in Upland. Keep an eye out for more information as we
