As we get ready for the Tokyo city release, we would like to
announce that Upland Kingdoms and Uplandia, two of Upland’s newest
Layer 2 games, are both adding quests specific to Tokyo for players
to complete in their games. Players who complete these quests will
earn special Block Explorers that will help players perform better
in each game. Players will have until
Friday,
August 18th, at 9 AM PT, to complete these
quests to earn these special Block Explorers!
Upland Kingdoms is a game built on top of Upland using the properties that you own as your domain! Anything that is built on a property in Upland Kingdoms is attached to that property. That means if you sell that property in Upland, those buildings move with it to the new owner. Your goal will be to develop your kingdom, raise an army, amass wealth, and subjugate other players to become the most powerful ruler in each kingdom.
Complete the following quests in Upland Kingdoms to earn one of the exclusive Samurai Sword Block Explorers:
Important Note: Players who have previously completed these quests will be required to complete them once again in order to earn a Samurai Sword Block Explorer.
Upon successful completion of these quests, players will be rewarded with one of the four Samurai Sword Block Explorers. The specific type of Samurai Sword Block Explorer you’ll receive will be randomly selected by the Upland team from the four options. Equipping one of these Samurai Sword Block Explorers will enhance the damage dealt by Sword Troops (Skirmishers and Swordsmen) by +10% in Upland Kingdoms. The selection of which of the four explorers you'll receive is random and determined by the Upland Team.

Participants who join the Uplandia Discord and complete the initial minimum required gameplay will be personally invited to enter the Uplandia Portal to Tokyo, where they will be able to complete the Tokyo Quests. Each player who completes all four Tokyo quests will earn one of the four Samurai Mask Block Explorer variants. The specific type of Samurai Mask Block Explorer you’ll receive will be randomly selected by the Upland team from the four options.
