The Upland Auction House is holding a special Genesis Week Auction and it has Cars! Hosted by X1TheGamer and General Mort, this auction will be one of your first opportunities to get your hands on a car (including the Design Challenge winning van) and secure a Las Vegas Landmark. We will also auction off some top-tier properties from the community so be sure to join us! The Upland Auction House goes live on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at 11:00 AM PT on Youtube. Once again, we were forced to make another difficult choice among so many great submissions. Of course, there can only be one winner, so let’s give it up for Shaktilyn for the “Imagination Van!”
The Imagination Van is designed by Shaktilyn, an author and nature photographer. Shaktilyn worked with TossHed, an artist from England with a fashion design background, to bring her idea to life. In her own words:
“The fungus is one of Earth’s genesis organisms, and the metaverse is the world we build according to our imaginations. Therefore, this groovy Imagination Van serves as a symbol of Genesis Week ’22 when the automobile was introduced to Upland. Its vibrant colors serve as inspiration: create your custom life, color your world, feel the vibe, and explore the map in your own Imagination Van.”
Shaktilyn is also a leader within the Century Citizens (“CC”) community focused in Century City, Los Angeles. The Century Citizens strive to create the first fully functioning city in Upland through a mutually supportive and kind community that is focused on integrity and kindness. Together, they share Spark at no cost to build the area as fast as possible with hopes of attracting the highest net worth Uplanders to the area.
This 1-of-1 MV Motors Series V, “Artisan” Trim van will be auctioned off during the Upland Auction House! The starting price is set at 400,000 UPX and proceeds will be shared with Shaktilyn. So be sure to be at the Auction House to place your bids to get the Imagination Van!
The Upland Auction House managed to get its hands on some of the first MV Motors cars! Up for Auction are 15 MV Motors Series 1 Cars and 6 MV Motors Series V Cars in a variety of colors. Check out the Cars available at auction below:

As we continue to release cars, we encourage players to do their own diligence and make their own decisions regarding the value of cars.
In an effort to give Uplanders around the world a chance to participate, we will be utilizing a silent auction and draft system to distribute the cars. The top 21 bidders will be determined through a silent auction for “draft” slots. The place in the silent auction determines the draft position. Once the silent auction has closed, Uplanders with top bids will be contacted and encouraged to join the Auction Live Stream to pick their car in a draft style. The top bidder will get to pick first. Second highest bidder will pick second, and so on. This process will continue until all cars have been selected.
Starting NOW, Uplanders can bid in the Silent Auction to win a Car. There are only 21 spots available and the highest bidder will get the First Pick! Your placement in the Silent Auction determines your pick order so bid for the top spots for the best chance to get the car of your choice.
If you would like to increase you bid, you can resubmit the form to update your bid. All bids are final and we will consider your highest bid as your best offer. Once you have made a bid, you cannot cancel it, it can only be updated to a higher value. We expect that any Uplander who makes a bid will be able to pay that amount. If you bid for one of the top spots and cannot pay your bid amount, your spot will be forfeited and banned from Discord.
The Silent Auction will end on June 8th, 2022 at 10:00 AM PT.

The Cars Draft will occur at the end of Live Auction on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at 11:00 AM PT. Uplanders with the top 21 bids will have the opportunity to select their Car. The highest bidder will have the First Pick and will get to pick first. The second highest bidder will have the Second Pick will get to pick from the remaining lot. This process will continue until all Cars have been reserved similar to a sports draft. Uplanders with draft spots will be invited to a private Discord channel to communicate their picks and are encouraged to join live to stay up-to-date on which cars have been selected.
If you cannot be present at the Cars Draft, your car will be determined based on your preferences as noted on your bid. The model type will have the highest priority and then color or mint number. In addition to setting your priority list for Model and colors, you will need to select either “Color First” or “Mint First”.
As an example, if you are next in the draft order, your model priority is Series 1 then Series V, your color priority is “Candy Red” then “Electric Yellow” then “Coral Orange”, and the following cars are still available…
You can update your preferences by resubmitting the form with an equivalent or higher bid. We use the preferences in your latest bid for the Cars Draft.
In the future, we plan to sell cars through other methods such as store sales and showrooms. Not all cars will be sold through auctions.
Be one of the first to get a property on the Las Vegas Strip! The property that shares a location with the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino will be up for Auction! The auction bidding will begin at the Minimum Suggested Mint price, and will proceed until there is a winner. Keep in mind that there is a Minting Cap set for this property, any bids placed beyond the Minting Cap will be paid as a premium for this property.
As always, the Upland Auction House will be auctioning properties from the Upland Community. This time all properties will be part of Exclusive, Rare, or Ultra-Rare Collections, so get ready to bid on properties to complete your Collections!
