City Evolution: Los Angeles is Back with the Latest Main Street Modular Structure

City Evolution continues to move forward and this time, Los Angeles is taking the spotlight once again. We’re reopening a portion of this historic city with the release of 1,800 previously locked properties, and with it comes the debut of Upland’s latest Mixed Use structure: the Main Street Modular Apartments: Bookstore Edition.

These properties have been locked for over a year as part of the City Lock program. Their return marks the first step in reintroducing locked cities in a more measured and accessible way. Players can expect additional unlocks in the future as more City Evolution packs roll out.

City Evolution: Los Angeles

This Los Angeles release is designed to support sustainable city growth with a focused, measured rollout. The release includes two bundle options, giving players different ways to engage based on their goals and budgets. There’s also a small chance to score a property in the highly sought-after Beverly Hills neighborhood.

Both bundles will be available in limited quantities in the Upland Store, with sales running over the weekend. Unsold properties will be removed at the end of the sale and reintroduced in a future drop.

The Mainstreet Modular Apartments: Bookstore Edition is the newest entry in our Mixed Use Structure line. Designed in the same modular style as the Bookstore Edition, this version features a lively local bookstore on the ground floor with apartments above, bringing even more personality and function to your neighborhoods.

Like the previous version, it’s modular, allowing you to combine multiple units into larger mixed-use complexes. It’s also region-locked to North America, with more region-specific versions in development for future releases.
