Attention Uplanders! Your voices are about to be heard loud and clear. On Monday, October 9th, at 9 AM PT, we're officially opening the voting polls for the approval of the Sparklet White Paper, which is the second major Upland Improvement Proposal (UIP-2). We invite all community members to engage in this vital decision-making process. Your votes will shape the future of Upland!

On October 3rd, we released the Sparklet White Paper and encouraged the community to thoroughly examine the information and engage in discussions. We have responded to key questions on AMA, Cafe, Discord and Reddit. (Reddit responses from the Upland team have and will be added to the threads throughout the day).

Many of the comments were insightful proposals on how to increase Spark utility and ensure its centrality within the Upland economy. To address these, following an approval for the vote Upland will engage with the community on a roadmap discussion for Spark utility to ensure a successful, long-term implementation of the initiative.

To refresh your memory, we are taking the first steps in potentially making Spark tradable outside of Upland via a Token Tradability Event (“TTE”). The Sparklet White Paper we recently released outlines our initiative to enable the trading of Spark on external exchanges, expanding its reach beyond Upland’s boundaries. As part of the TTE, Spark will be mirrored by a new ERC-20 token named ‘Sparklet’, with each Sparklet being equivalent to one-thousandth (1/1000) of a Spark.

• Tap the Profile button.
• Scroll down and open the Sparklet White Paper vote.
