What happens in Vegas, stays in the metaverse! Thank you to everyone who participated in Genesis Week 2022. Whether you joined us for our first-ever Genesis Week in-person event or online, we hope that this Genesis Week was one to remember. We had a number of announcements this week with tons of winners, so here’s a quick recap to get you up to speed.
Get your passports ready as Upland prepares for its first international city, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! After teasing an international city release with terminal sales and giveaways earlier in Genesis Week, we were excited to announce at the Light It Upland Awards Party that Rio de Janeiro will be Upland’s first city outside of the United States. We can’t wait to see what Uplanders and the amazing Brazilian community do with Rio De Janeiro and look forward to bringing the fantastic city to Upland.
Genesis Week 2022 was capped off with the Light It Upland Awards Party at the incredible Illuminarium. After a few remarks from our Co-Founders and Co-CEOs, Dirk Leuth and Idan Zuckerman, we announced and recognized the winners of the Community Superlatives, the Design Challenge, and Hackathon. Please offer a huge congratulations to the following Uplanders for their big wins!

During Genesis Week, Uplanders had the opportunity to earn an entry into a giveaway for the chance to win the first-ever minted car, the one-of-a-kind MV Motors Series 1 Genesis Trim!

A huge topic at Genesis Week was the upcoming release of cars. Earlier in the week, we held our first ever silent auction and cars draft where 21 cars were reserved for their new owners. We also auctioned the first artisan Series V with the winning design from Shaktilyn from the Genesis Week Design Challenge. The results of the auction and cars draft can be viewed here. Lastly, as we prepare for the launch of cars, production has started at the MV Motors Manufacturing Plant! Find your way to 4220 Network Circle, Santa Clara, CA to see the progress and the cars that have been produced!
Genesis Week was filled with live streams that offered a little something for everyone. These live streams can be found on the Upland Youtube or Twitch Channel.
